Wine Trademarks and Geographical Indications
On Wednesday, November 12th, from 6:00-8:00 PM in Room L-30 here at the University of Richmond School of Law, SIPLA will be hosting a CLE event for local practitioners and any students that wish to learn about trademark and geographical indications law for wine labeling.
The event will be presented by Rob Tyler of Spotts Fain and our very own Prof. Kristen Osenga, who teaches classes in trademark, patent, and IP litigation. The presentation will last an hour and there will be additional time to enjoy wine and hors d'oeuvres, as well as to mingle and chat with local IP attorneys.
I suggest dressing business casual as many of the attorneys attending will be doing so. I hope everyone can make it to the event and if anyone has any questions, please feel free to shoot me an email.
